BIGMOUTH BIKES AGAIN!
Smiths fans are organising a 16 mile sponsored bike ride around Salford and Manchester to raise funds for the club whilst recreating the video for the song Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before. But will Morrissey be available reprise his role 20 years on?
This unique event takes place on Sunday 30th September 2007 at 10.30am starting at the club and visiting Morrissey and Smiths landmarks such as Iron Bridge, Southern Cemetry, Holy Name Church, Strangeways Prison and back to Salford Lads for a group photo outside and some great fun events inside the club..
Already confirmed for the event are:
The brilliant tribute band 'The Smyths' who will welcome back the riders from their gruelling task with a live set in the main gym!!
Go to www.thesmyths.net for more information.
Vintage Ice Cream Van 'Everyday Is Like Sundae' will be parked outside, so do stop her and buy one! For more information go to www.everyday-is-like-sundae.co.uk
Donation entry fee is £5.00 and all proceeds go straight to the club's restoration project.
